Event Venue Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Deposit

A non-refundable booking deposit of $200. For Private Event Rentals

is required to reserve an event date. The deposit is applied toward the total venue rental fee but is not refundable if the client cancels the event within a 48-hour window of time. 

An event date is not considered confirmed until the required deposit and signed agreement have been received.

 

2. Client Cancellation

If the client cancels the event, refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:

• More than 90 days before the event: The client may receive a refund of amounts paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable third-party or administrative fees.

• 61–90 days before the event: 50% of eligible payments may be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit and applicable fees.

• 31–60 days before the event: 25% of eligible payments may be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit and applicable fees.

• 30 days or fewer before the event: No refund will be issued.  You can reschedule.

Any refund will be calculated based on the date the venue receives written notice of cancellation.

 

3. Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule an event subject to venue availability. Rescheduling requests must be made in writing.

Deposits and payments may be transferred to the new date at the venue's discretion, provided the new date is available, and the event is rescheduled within 12 months of the original date.

 

4. Venue Cancellation

If the venue must cancel an event due to circumstances within the venue's control, the client will receive a full refund of all payments made to the venue, including the booking deposit.

The venue will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by the client, including catering, entertainment, travel, accommodations, decorations, or other third-party services, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed to in writing.

 

5. Force Majeure

The venue will not be considered in breach of the agreement when cancellation or interruption is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, government orders, public emergencies, utility failures, or other unforeseen events that make the venue unavailable or unsafe.

In such circumstances, the venue may offer the client the option to reschedule the event. Any refund will be handled in accordance with the venue's agreement and applicable law.

 

6. Vendor and Third-Party Fees

The venue is not responsible for refunds owed by independent vendors, including caterers, DJs, photographers, decorators, rental companies, entertainers, or other third-party providers.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the cancellation and refund policies of all vendors they hire.

 

7. Additional Services and Fees

Payments for services or items that have already been provided, ordered, customized, or purchased on the client's behalf may be non-refundable, even when the event itself is cancelled.

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Staffing fees

• Security fees

• Equipment rentals

• Special setup or breakdown services

• Customized décor

• Cleaning fees

• Administrative fees

• Third-party charges

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within [7–14 business days] after the refund has been approved. Refunds will generally be issued.

 

9. Violence/Damaging of Property

If you or any of your guests engage in a physical altercation and/or purposely/mistakenly damages any property belonging to A Stylish Touch LLC, the event will be terminated immediately, and no refund will be provided.  Arrive with positive intentions and actions only!
